I love this; you can't identify the same guy can you?
Not that Joseph hadn't done dark before, he had done plenty ('Manic', 'Mysterious Skin', 'Brick', 'Stop Loss') but I was watching Hesher and I had this flash of Tom smiling and singing! I just love this Joseph Gordon-Levitt and his versatility.
It's a new British film directed by Lasse Hallstrom and written by Simon Beaufoy.
I read the script just about one year ago (don't know if I should say this!) and it was amazing; I really enjoyed it, I remember most of the story like I've read it yesterday - it was dramatic, romantic and funny. I'm really looking forward to Kristin Scott Thomas in here, you will too!
Or not.
Acknowledging Hollywood ways - repetitive ideas.
The Change Up
I was in my daily routine on The Internet Movie Database and I see the trailer of a new movie I never heard before so I watch the trailer - the same old conversation. The thing is, Jason Bateman could do much better.
What is your favourite, because I'm sure you have one...or not.
"You could call me at 10.59 but don't call me at 11 coz that's my rule now"
Who else can be any better at playing sarcastic characters than Zooey? No one.
I really like the last part of the video, her enthusiasm...
I love her ambigous roles. This is her art, really.
This film is in general sarcastic. But her presence is remarkably funny.
My favourite line: "It's called Cirque du Face, meaning "Circus of the Face".
What I remember well about this film is Zooey's character. Completely out of space!
First of all this was a great casting. Then she did an amazing performance.
How about "Weeds"?
This film is so bad - it's completely out of balance and it's completely hilarious!
At the end, her presence in films is so unique whether if it's in a dramatic role like
in "All the Real Girls" or in a more sarcastic one; she's great.
Who is not looking forward to see "My Idiot Brother"?
