Amy Adams
I finally saw ‘The Fighter’ and just reminded me how I love Amy Adams and how great it is to see her work. In this film, she plays Charlene, the girlfriend, but not the pacific and conventional insignificant one, but a strong woman with imperfections who really fights back for her boyfriend but also knows how to defend herself and with this performance we really can’t see any of the innocent or naïve roles she’s known for.
There's this scene as we get to the final part of the film just really intense between Amy and Christian Bale, a must see. The cast was so incredible and even unrecognizable; it really functioned well and strongly. It's a powerful drama with outstanding performances.
"Junebog"
We all get to know her officially with her unique role in “Junebog” and from then on she just doesn’t stop from doing amazing films.
A solid and very interesting film. She would later work with other two members of the cast Philip Seymour Hoffman and Emily Blunt.
Everybody loves "Echanted" and Giselle singing a happy working song!
"Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day" amusing delight!
Back to a dramatic role in "Sunshine Cleaning" with Emily Blunt as her sister.
In "Doubt" receives her second Oscar nomination for yet another Supporting Role.
The most interesting thing about "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian": Amy Adams.
Delightful in 'Julie and Julia'. Meryl is, obviously, endearing and superb but Amy is also wonderful.
In a romantic comedy! "Leap Year".
I'm really hoping to see Amy in another leading role; I know how difficult that is because feminine leading roles are kind of a rare thing, unfortunately. But I keep admiring Amy and the career she’s been having, not only for the way she has being establishing herself as a strong and consistent actress but also for continuing to being true to herself.
Thank you for posting these. I, too, love Amy Adams so much and I could watch her in anything :) God bless
