Féminin/Féminin

Féminin/Féminin
Do yourselves a huge favor and watch this Canadian webseries created by Chloé Robichaud. Now. Now now, I mean now. It's a treat.
Here's the link to watch the entire season (the 8 episodes). I'll be posting some more words about it soon, because the show deserves it!

Dance it out with Clones

Before our brains slow down from Season 2 intense analysis,
we can all come back to this scene for some chill time.
Well, I'll be looking at this indefinitely...anyway.
P.S. What a great episode that was...Wow.

Orphan is the New Black

How awesome it is to have Laverne Cox has your lead speech giver? How reassuring!

When worlds collide.
Actually, my favorite one is really Parks and Orphan Black. I mean, how in the world could I imagine Tatiana Maslany would be appearing on my favorite show ever?
This picture above is as you can see, Tatiana Maslany, Orange is the New Black members Uzo Abuda, Laura Prepon, Laverne Cox, Natasha Lyonne and Danielle Brooks and finally True Detective's Matthew McConaughey. And they are all Critics Choice Awards winners from last night.

Best Actress Drama
Tatiana Maslany.

Throwing all the awards at Tatiana. The thing is though, none of the awards in the world can really translate her talent and work on Orphan Black, like it will never be enough.
A year ago, when she won this Award she was pretty much unknown to most of us. This award, given to this unknown, clearly caught our attention. Personally, I think it was around this time last year that I went to see the Orphan Black trailer and got immediately interested. What a great trailer. Now a year later, and fifteen clones later, Tatiana Maslany has become a prestigious acting God and her series Orphan Black an exciting cult to follow.

Excuse my French, but really, fuck the Emmys. Bottom line is, she's beyond that. It's that kind of work and worthtiness. And I believe it is also the best compliment I can give her.

I think you could say the same about Orange is the New Black. Besides the extraordinary acting and talent present in the show, what Jenji Kohan is doing is beyond any awards given; she's bringing important issues to us, she's possibly even and hopefully changing the way women are written, she's hopefully opening up minds about the way we perceive diversity and change and chance.
Besides, Orange is beautiful and Orange is poetic. Yes, I've seen Orange already! And I need to talk about, which resuming here, it's brilliant!
And in no time, here we are again, lost in pain, for the wait until next year.

This last Sunday is the last episode of Season 2. I'll be crying. Bye.

Gone Girl

"You fucking bitch,"  - Nick.
"Play nice, Nick." - Amy.
I can’t wait to watch Rosamund Pike playing Amy. I can’t wait.I think it is a great choice. She’s perfect for it. She has never done this kind of role before really…oh it is going to be great to watch this film…I just laughed (nervously) with the trailer…The whole thing is pretty scary…I love how the book is so revealing.

Angie

If you ask people what they've always wanted to do, most people haven't done it. That breaks my heart.
