Golden Globes and other nominations

I’m always pretty pumped up when this starts but then I am pretty bumped up. I’m disappointed, really. No glory for indie films whatsoever, I mean indie films like Middle of Nowhere, End of Watch, Beasts, Perks, Ruby Sparks, Compliance, except for Bernie, Moonrise... The Golden Globes nominations:

Best Foreign Language Film
Amour
A Royal Affair
The Intouchables
Kon-Tiki
Rust and Bone
I knew it. Rust and Bone was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film, along with their pals The Intouchables. The winner will likely to be Amour though, right?

Best Screenplay
Zero Dark Thirty
Lincoln
Django Unchained
Argo
Silver Linings Playbook.

Best Animated Feature Film
Brave
Frankenweenie
Hotel Transylvania
Rise of the Guardians
Wreck-It-Ralph

Best Original Song
“For You” (Keith Urban, Act of Valor)
“Not Running Anymore” (Jon Bon Jovi, Stand Up Guys)
“Safe and Sound” (The Hunger Games, Taylor Swift and others)
“Skyfall” (Adele and Paul Epworth)
“Suddenly” (Les Miz)

I think “Abraham’s Daughter” is tremendous, but Safe and Sound was a pleasant tribute too.
Adele closer to an Oscar nomination?

Best Original Score
Anna Karenina
Argo
Life of Pi
Cloud Atlas
Lincoln

No Beasts of the Southern Wild, why I am even mentioning it?

These are so Golden Globes nominations...what can I say? You know who rules the fuck out? Maggie Smith, she had ten nominations in different films and series! I'm deeply disturbed that there's no Keira Knightley and Anna Karenina. No Magic Mike, no Rebel Wilson, no Emmanuelle Riva, no Quvenzhané Wallis. Salmon Fishing in the Yemen - they liked this film! Emily Blunt and Ewan MgGregor both nominated. By the way, this is more of a drama than a comedy. Alan Arkin, such an over the top situation here. Dwight Henry to me should win the freaking Oscar, but that's a dream that will not happen. You know who I would vote for a best actress/supporting? Ari Graynor For a Good Time, Call...! America Ferrara for End of Watch. You know who worked really well? Nicole Kidman, she really must know how.

TV
Breathtaking snubs? 30 Rock and Parks and Recreation. What's so ironic and depressing really, is that 30 Rock's last season seems to be even better than all the others, they're just really in that good mood. It feels like they're kidding us, they keep getting better and better, except that this is their last episodes. It's really good but really sad.
You know whatelse? Chris fu**** Pratt should be nominated for a Supporting role or whatever.

Mandy Patinkin got a nomination for supporting role. Which reminds me, I have to catch up with Homeland, which is starting to really annoy me.

Oh my god, you know who should be nominated for a freaking Golden Globe? LUCY LAWLESS for playing fucking Lucretia man.

After five consistent years it has come the time for Dexter to be left out. It's sad because the show is obviosuly still so damn good. Michael C. Hall's run seems to have come to an end too. Let's wait for next year. Jeff Daniels is the substitute.

No Games of Thrones. No Mad Men.
No Raising Hope, I call it. That's a show that I see, and I think it's good. Not that I watch any of the other  nominated shows, literally. Girls is the only new Comedy series to get into the branch and the one I saw. And The Newsroom for Drama.

Oh how they keep loving Downton Abbey. And after three seasons, Michelle Dockery gets a nomination. It's pretty interesting!

I don't really know whatelse so say. I'm not adding anything interesting anyway! Coincidentally or not, if it wasn't for Amy and Tina, it would be really hard to watch these Golden Globes. Would I watch it, even?

Amy Poheler was nominated...what? She's probably busy eating waffles or others suga high elements. I am.

This is actually boring. It's either that or the critics and Oscar experts are really good at what they do!
I had this thought in my mind, now that there's only a handful of critics to give their tributes and the Guilds, that the Oscars nominations might get surprising. Or not, really. I think this is just my hopes getting in my way of thinking.
